This giant box of chocolates (with working lid) was created for a clothing shop to display in their front window.
Dream Cones, 2012

This installation was replicated twice, one for each shop window. There were 12 fabric cones in total. Clouds were illuminated from below, providing a dreamy glow to the windows when the shop was closed.

| Detail of sewn seagull before painting. Seagulls were given a generous coat of paint to give them an impressionistic painterly feel. I sewed thick wire into the border of the wings so that I could position them into realistic flight postures on-site. There were ten seagulls in total. |
